Just a quick post to provide you with a "blank" acceptance letter. It is just a basic image you can open in any photo/image editing program and add your own words or print it out and use that as the base for a letter. Enjoy!

A Thanksgiving Menu

Here in the United States we are approaching one of the biggest holidays in our nation. Honestly though in this day and age I think it is just an excuse to overeat and fight with family but you know what? I'm cool with that. Fighting with family just lets you know how much you love them. How? Because you speak with them again, that's how. :P I was going to make this post on my other site but frankly I like this one better and enjoy posting to it more, so you just gotta deal! Mwhahahah!!!  I will start you off with a basic Thanksgiving Menu that is one I remember eating many holidays and provide you with various links if I have them to some good recipes. I will also be providing you with 2 recipes. Well 1 recipe and 1 how to as it were.  Saint Patrick's Day is right around the corner and you know what that means? Every drunken stereotype is going to be out in droves, mostly found in bars all over the world. It is a day of friends, frivolousness and frankly drinking. lol Oh how I love the Irish. More so lately since I am married to an Irishman and he is very keen on his families history and heritage. Which in turn made me want to learn more about mine and yeah,...I found out I am Irish. Mostly! Funny how that works out. LOL That made me want to do a little something more than the usual St. Patties day themed goodies this year. Take Two Of Takei

A while ago I did a set of cookies in homage of the " It's Okay To Be Takei " Movement, as well as Sulu himself. My first " It's Okay To Be Takei " Cookies. What can I say, I am a geeky girl. Well, recently there has been a certain company that has come out against the LGTB community as a whole. Many are standing up with them, many are standing up against them. Considering that one of my favorite people in the world is George Takei, I bet you can tell what stance I have and there for Surreal Confections has. That's right, we are fabulous here at SC, OH MY!
