Okay, here is another quick post. Just finished up the Platform Entrance and so here is your sign. (Teehee, I am so not funny right now. ><!!!!) Anywho! Here we go! A quick print, glue it on something firm, cut it out, hang it up! Combined with the wall from earlier and you have the entrance to Platform 9 3/4's for under a total of $5.00. Ain't that sweet? hehe. Just a quick post to provide you with a "blank" acceptance letter. It is just a basic image you can open in any photo/image editing program and add your own words or print it out and use that as the base for a letter. Enjoy!

Well you cannot have a Harry Potter Party without a way to get there. My preferred method of travel is of course the Hogwarts Express - Why I always provide all participants with their very own ticket. Thing is, you may have a ticket and you may know to get on the train but you still need a way to get to the train. That is where this little tutorial comes in. Again, less than $5.00 and you can have your own wall for the kids to run through. (Or if you are a prankster, run into to. You know, for when Dobby closes it off.) Well no secret, my daughters birthday is coming up and like I mentioned in the last post - She wants a Harry Potter Themed Birthday. So here I am trying to come up with things to do for her party on the cheap. Having a Dementor is a must but how could I get one and not spend a lot. I am talking like $5 tops. Well I used ended up using things around the house and a few key purchases to make one. It will cost you more or less, depending on what you have at your own home. Now, don't be afraid to trade things out and try other stuff. But anywho, here is what I used. 1 Large Black Bed Sheet 2 Sheets of Cheese Cloth Box of Black Fabric Dye Several Empty Oatmeal Containers of different sizes Plastic Skull and Spine Needle & Thread Black Yarn Black Spray Paint Black knee high Dowel Rod Glue Take your oatmeal containers and glue them together - largest in the center. Well my daughters birthday is coming up and she requested a Harry Potter Themed Birthday party, so me being me decided to go all out for her and do what I could to make it nifty. Going with what others had done before and a few ideas of my own, a massive party invitation was put together.  The most impressive part was the Marauder's Map Invitation itself. I took a map I found online at another website and altered it a bit to include a middle fold out section. Link with to the original is here - Marauders Map  - Now, this is for a flat map with no folding insert in the center. If you would like to add that, just follow the pictures and add one yourself, it is rather simple to do....After you have followed the basic steps on the other website to construct your map, follow with these steps before folding anything.
